T&Cs

1. General Terms

In these Terms & Conditions and the Box Rules, “Studio” means Live Life Qatar at which the Member applied for membership and any other Live Life Facility the Member may attend if applicable; “Member” means the member named on the Application Form; “Contract” means the contract between Live Life and the Member subject to the Terms & Conditions and Studio Rules; “Application Form” means the application form completed by the Member to join; “Studio Rules” means the set guidelines governing all activity within the Studio.

2. Membership Application

Membership is subject to the Terms & Conditions of this Contract as may be amended from time to time by Live Life. Live Life reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time by giving the Member five (5) day’s written notice. Submission of an Application Form is an offer to Live Life to become a Member of the Studio subject to these Terms & Conditions. Live Life reserves the right to reject any application for Membership.

A signed Application Form, the Terms & Conditions, and the Studio Rules make up the binding Contract of Membership with Live Life. Members are advised to read the Terms & Conditions and Studio Rules in full before signing the Application Form.

Membership is available to individuals of 18 years of age and over, subject to status; individuals under 18 years of age may join with Parental/Guardian attendence.

Upon joining Live Life, the Member consents to having their photograph taken by Live Life to confirm their identity upon entry, and consents to having their photograph taken at any time whilst using the facilities, excluding changing rooms. Live Life reserves the right to use any such photographs for press or promotional purposes.

3. Memberships Types

a) Monthly Memberships
For this membership, payment is collected upon approval of application and is then payable every 30 days.  No minimum contract term applies.

b) 10-Pack Memberships
For this membership, you are provided with ten (10) class passes, full payment is required upfront, and the Membership will automatically expire two (2) months after purchase date. Members may then renew their Membership at the prevailing rate for their package type, or alternatively may switch to a Monthly Membership as per above.

c) Drop-In Membership
Members under this category may purchase a session at any time but must use this session on the day or the payment will be forfeited.

Live Life reserves the right to introduce, withdraw and vary categories of Membership.

4. Membership Cancellations

Paid in Full Memberships will expire automatically at the end of the term, unless the Member chooses to renew their Membership. No refunds are applicable for any portion of fees paid upfront.

Live Life will make every effort to help in exceptional circumstances such as redundancy. Please contact us for more information.

5. Hold/Refund Policy

All fees outlined in this contract must be paid in full, regardless of usage.  There is no refund in whole or in part.

Packages will expire and must be used up by the date referred to in your Contract.   There will be no holds and no extensions unless under exceptional conditions as agreed upon by management.  Classes cannot be sold or transferred to another party.

6. Access To Facility

You will be provided with an access card with your Membership. You must present it to the reception desk on arrival otherwise you may be refused entry.

If you lend your membership card to another party to access to the facilities they will be refused and your Membership will be automatically be cancelled and no refund provided.  If you lose or damage your card we will replace it but will charge you QAR 100.

7. Box Facilities

Full details of normal opening hours, together with a schedule of charges and fees, are available upon request at Box’s Reception or on our website. Live Life reserves the right to vary normal opening hours, or to temporarily close certain areas of the Box from time to time without notice for the purpose of cleaning, decorating, repairs, or for special functions and holidays.

8. Class Reservation Policy

a) Reserving Classes
Pre-booking (reservation) will be required before attending.  If you did not reserve your spot in the appropriate class, then you may be refused from participating in such class in favour of people that have pre-booked.  Reservations will open 24 hours before the scheduled classes. 

b) How do I Pre-Book my Classes?
We use ZENPLANNER to book classes online. Once you have paid for a membership, download Zenplanner and connect using the login details sent to you by email. If you require further assistance, our staff will be happy to you. 

c) Waiting Lists

In the event that membership availability is at capacity, we will have a waiting list for members.  If you are entered onto a waiting list, such list will be kept at the discretion of Management.  A first-come-first-served policy will be applied to the waiting list, except in exceptional circumstances as decided Live Life Management.

9. Personal Belongings

Please keep your access card with you and do not bring your valuables into the facility.  Unfortunately thefts do happen and we do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to your belongings.

10. Termination of Membership by Live Life

Live Life may terminate a Membership without notice and with immediate effect if:

a) the Member breaks these Terms & Conditions or the Box Rules, either repeatedly or one serious breach;

b) any fees remain unpaid after repeated requests for payment by Live Life;

c) Live Life is of the opinion that the Member is not suitable for continued Membership;

d) the Member puts the health, safety or well-being of staff or Members at risk including but not limited to use of supply of illegal performance-enhancing drugs or threatening, harassing or intimidating others.

All decisions made by Live Life under this clause are final and binding.

11. Your Personal Information

Live Life will never sell, trade, rent, exchange or otherwise share your personal information with any other person, company or organization. This site complies with the following Privacy Policy.  By using this site, you indicate your acceptance of Live Life CrossFit’s Online Privacy Policy.

12. Medical Condition

By using the facility or attending classes you declare yourself to be physically sound and suffering from no condition, impairment, disease or infirmity or other illness that would prevent you from participation or use of equipment.  Your health and medical condition(s) are your responsibility.  If you suffer from any medical condition(s) at all you must seek first medical advice before participating in any class or activity at the facility.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Live Life will not be held liable for any death, personal injury or illness occurring on the premises or as a result of use of Live Life facilities.  As a Member you strictly agree at all times to take all responsibility and liability for any injuries and/or damages resulting from participation in any fitness activities or otherwise.

14. Assumption of Risk

As a Member you understand and are aware that physical training and activity including use of equipment are potentially hazardous activities which involves the risk of injury and even death.  You voluntarily participate in any classes or use of equipment at the facility with the knowledge of the dangers involved and you agree to assume all and any risk of injury or death.

15. Indemnity & Disclaimer

At no point will Live Life, or any staff member be liable for any advice given in any capacity to any Member at any point.  By becoming a Member, you fully indemnify and hold harmless Live Life including any staff member at all times from all actions legal or otherwise arising from any events whatsoever, however connected to us without exception.

16. Changes to Terms & Conditions

Live Life may amend these Terms & Conditions, and will advertise when changes are made in Box and on the Live Life website. Any changes will be effective immediately.
